If memory serves me correctly, I met Cliff Branch at a grocery store in Downey, CA (I believe he had a house there) and was very friendly and even extended his hand out for a shake when I said "aren't you Cliff Branch of the Raiders"? Very nice man. RIP Sir!

I'll always remember Cliff Branch as part of my life growing up in the 70's and 80's. He is definitely in the top of all time greatest players in NFL history! Hearing his name instantly creates fond memories of growing up in America watching NFL on TV and riding on Stingray bicycles in my neighborhood. We're all so lucky to have experienced our times. God bless Cliff Branch and his family. Thanks for the memories Mr. Branch.

I met Cliff 1 time and he autographed his picture to my disabled grandson at Walmart in Bullhead City Arizona. He was such a great guy. I also worked with his teammate Reggie Kinlaw another great guy. RIP SIR.

Cliff was my mentor. As a kid ,I was amazed at Cliffs abilities at wide receiver. I had never seen such a complete and utterly concise player at that position. When you think of Biletnikoff ,you think hands, Gault , speed ,Pearson, precise routes, Clark, toughness and durability. But Cliff had all this and more. He was poetry in motion at the same time grit and determination personified. Most of all he was is my brother in Christ ! see you soon Cliff
