Not sure what to say?

Ruth: I sang at your wedding and have been in CA since 1976; now in Palm Springs I remember the priest not being happy with you wanting me to sing the Coke a Cola theme song, "I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony". I do remember how beautiful both you and Cliff were as a couple. I'm sorry to hear of Cliff's passing. Your mom was very kind to me when I was a teenager. She was cool and did love her bingo. And of course, Jimmy and I had fun playing hockey and hanging out. And...

Over the last week, i have been reflecting on Cliff's passing after a stellar teaching career and my recollections of riding with him on school bus route #3 and Sophomore and Junior English classes we shared at Sharon High.
When one is young, the possible severity of such an untimely tragedy that Cliff suffered may seem as remote as a foreign land. It is probably good that in our younger days we can not anticipate the endurance which may be required before life's journey is done.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I am Dave Greer's sister iin Florida. I believe Ruth, Cliff and I have met a few times. I know alot about Cliff just listening to my brother. I was very sad to hear of Cliff's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all

I RECOGNIZED THE GOODBAND NAME IMMEDIATELY AS I READ THE GLOBE OBITUARIES..MY SISTER, MARGIE MARGOLIS,OFTEN SPOKE OF YOUR FAMILY AND I KNOW CLIFF AND MICHAEL WERE FRIENDS..
THE DEATH NOTICE THE NEXT DAY IN THE GLOBE WAS FABULOUS..SUCH WONDERFUL WORDS FOR A WONDERFUL MAN..WE CAN ALL LEARN FROM A MAN WHO COLLECTED TRASH..THE VALUE OF A GOOD LIFE SPENT IN MANY VENUES..SINCERELY, EVELYN MORRIS

Cliff Goodband represented the very best of Belmont Hill. We met him on Brian's first visit and were so impressed. We continued to be impressed as we came to know him and the school better. He has left such an outstanding legacy - in both his work and family.

God bless you all. Knowing that your husband/father had the utmost respect and admiration from all who knew him should give you some peace at this extremely sad time.

Ruthy, I am so saddened by the news of Cliff's passing. He was very special. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the kids and grand children. He still had that quirky smile I will always remember from those long ago days in Waltham!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I'm am truly saddened to hear of his passing and my heart goes out to his family and friends. Mr. Goodband was one of the most influential people I had the opportunity to learn from with while attending Belmont Hill and I feel very lucky to have attended the school during his tenure.
