Cliff was a long time mentor refing, Elks friend good memories of meeting Burt Reynols,Sarah Miles, George Hamilton in Elks Club 1972,ded in Gila Bend Az. Played pool,got,autograph. Fun night

I had Coach Bryan at Yuma high as a coach and teacher. He started me refing basketball in PE class. I went on to ref college, and National league Baseball. Forty eight years later I am still refing games. It all started in his class.
He and i became friends and officated many high school games in Arizona.
He attended my wedding in 1970.
He was a big help to me in officating and life. Coach Bryan someday we may be working games in New Jerusalem.

first and foremost our sincere condolence goes out to the bereaved family for the lost of Coach Clifford Bryan. Coach Bryan stood alone in his quest for the betterment of mankind. The writer remembers when the writer was a senior at Yuma high school, while running track in P.E.. Coach Bryan pulled the writer aside and gave the writer a ten minute lecture on the basis of running. From that ten minute lecture not only changed the runner it changed the writer's idea- logic of life. A change that...

coach Bryan was a kind and inspirational man with a quiet but funny sense of humor that i really enjoyed about him.Ill always remember him for his words of wisdom of life and sports and future.Even though i didnt play high school sports,it made me a better man in life with my family and other sports,Thank you coach.
