You were my second father after I lost him. You were definitely loved in my family. I will miss you saying "you are so pretty, how did you get so pretty?" I got that way because you brought it out in me. Whenever I think of you, I can only smile and giggle and have very fond thoughts of you. You are in a good place now. Peace be with you!!

To My Cousin Jackie, I will miss you for the rest of my life. There isn't enough words to express the lost in our family(Children of Robert & Evie Edmonds) right now. We all have our strong memories of you. I have serveral, but the one that stands out the most for me is the Book on the family we've all been waiting to see. You said that the Book starts with Aunt Lenora James and it ends with OZ Johnson. I asked you for a sentence and you

I went to pay my repects last Tuesday to Clifford Hayes out of love and friendship for his daughter, my partner, Cheryl Hayes-Damon,Vice Principal of Peshine Avenue School. Just from that experience I could tell what a wonderful man, father and friend he must have been. They say we are judged by the company we keep. I saw many wonderful people who came to help and support the Hayes & Damon families. We should all be so lucky to have known Mr.Clifford Hayes.

I was shocked when I got the news of Uncle Jackie's passing. I am deeply sadden. There was no event that Uncle Jackie "aka Cookie" didn't bring tears to my eyes, from all the laughter. He will be surely missed. My condolences to the family. Aunt Pauline if you need a shoulder to lean on, I am here.
