Not sure what to say?

My Grandad... It is hard to believe almost a year has passed. There have been so many changes in this past year, I wish I could of shared with him. His presence was greatly missed at our wedding, and then 4 months later I wished I could of called him to say "your going to have a great grandchild!" I miss him. Life is so fragile. I realize the older I become, what is truly important...family. When Grandad passed away, his WHOLE family came together, and the memory of all that love will never...

MY EARLIEST MEMORY OF MY COUSIN, CLIFFORD JR., WAS GOING TO HIS BIRTHDAY PARTY. I WAS ABOUT 3, SO IT MUST HAVE BEEN HIS 7th. HE WAS WEARING "KNICKERS" (THOSE PANTS THAT YOUNG BOYS WORE UNTIL THEY WERE OLD ENOUGH FOR LONG PANTS.}NOW, FAST FORWARD TO A CLIFFORD JR.AS A YOUNG MAN. MY MENTAL PICTURE OF A VERY HANSOME AND DASHING AIRCORPS LT. WITH SILVER PILOTS WINGS ON HIS UNIFORM AND SILVER BARS ON HIS SHOULDERS.

Clifford was my Uncle. As a boy, I always received a birthday card from him, and it was, inevitably, a card with a baseball theme. I had no interest whatsoever in baseball, and was perplexed by his consistency, year upon year, in selecting these cards. A little boy in baseball uniform one year, a little tiger with bat and ball another year, a pop-up style card with a high-fly the following. I wondered if I was perhaps supposed to like the sport.

I can only surmise that his card...

The gift that my Dad left me was persevereance. Over the last 16 years I have been amazed at his persistence and commitment to go on, to still walk, and remain self sufficient. But what I saw more than that was his growing commitment to his relationship with God, and how that relationship became the source of his persevereance. His hope is deepened in me because of his testimony. He was far from perfect, but that seed of faith in his life was what made an eternal difference for me and those...

my grandfather makes me proud of who I am. I am very proud to be a Lance. I see my fathers love for his dad and I know how much I love my dad, it hurts me to see my dad hurt for the loss of his father. I live to make my grandad proud, along with my dad. I cant express how much I've looked up to my grandad and my dad and how much I want to carry on the tradition of great lance men. I miss you granddad, thank-you for setting the example for us all. JL

Please extend our deepest sympathy to the Clark family. As a distant relative, we are sorry not to have had the privilege of knowing him. He must have had a very interesting life. It is our loss too.
Sincerely,
Mr. & Mrs. John O. Haynes

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Lance families at this time. A cousin from the Clark families. May you find comfort in God and family Connie

I will remember Uncle Clifford as a warm, easy going man who always impressed me whenever we met, with the genuine interest he took in me, and the people and events in his life.
Paul Lance (nephew)

I knew Clifford as Wayne's older brother, that he was a pilot in World War II, and that he became a major store planner thereafter.
My condolences to the family.
