Not sure what to say?

I knew Clifford while attending Washington Twp. High School, and graduated in the same class as his wonderful and beautiful wife, Karen. Cliff took such good care of Karen during her very long illness; I am sure there is a place in heaven for him. They were a wonderful, "classy" couple. Rest in peace, Cliff.

Very sorry to learn of Cliff passing. We lived just up the street, so we had many long talks about Pitt athletics, played golf together at Hannastown, and just old fashioned conversation. He was a gem at taking care of your mom and gave his all to see that she had the best of care. He so loved to take care of his yard and riding that mower! May he rest in peace, happily beside your mom, his beloved Karen. Memory Eternal! Steve and Cindy Swencki

Rest In Peace Brother Clifford.

My condolences go out to Cliffs family. I am proud to have served with him at Troop A Greensburg and to have known him as a friend. He was one of the nicest and caring person the Lord put on the earth. May God Bless him and his family.

Lightner Family, Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss of Clifford. I was one of the many young police officers who he trained during his career at the Southwest Training Center. He provided an excellent example of a law enforcement officer for me and my fellow trainees to follow. With deepest sympathy, Sheldon Epstein

Your Dad was so full of wonderful stories from his life. He was charming and so handsome with those blue eyes! I will miss him.

I served with Cliff at Newville Barracks in the mid-60's. He was a very fine man and an excellent non-commissioned officer. All the men had great respect for him. Rest in Peace Cliff - you have earned it! Sr. Judge Lawrence F. Clark, Jr. (PSP, Ret), Hershey, PA

Rest in Peace Instructor and Brother. Michael J. Barbuti PSP Retired Class 30

Lt. Lightner was one of the finest officers with whom I had the pleasure of serving under from '69 to '72. The man was a Class Act. My condolences go out to the family, may he rest in peace.
