When I was a student at Mount Dora High in the mid 50's I joined a hot rod club called the Triangle Timers. It was an exciting time - we cosponsored drag races at the old Lake Wales airport. Cliff was an active member, and because he was three years older than I he was a role model. I always admired his ability to take charge and be a mentor to us younger guys. I know he will be sorely missed.
