What a beautiful remembrance you have written. The world, and especially friends, family and the legal profession, has lost an immensely significant person. Cliff was an intellectual force, a man of passion, a man who followed his conscience, and most profoundly, an understanding and loyal man who loved his family above everything else. I am so proud that I was able to spend many years working for Cliff, and so glad to have become friends with both Cliff and Jan. My deepest condolences to...

i am deeply saddened i was not able to attend cliff"s services- i did not learn of his passing until today. i have fond memoreies of our family's time with the mitchells- and had the utmost respect for cliff"s abilities. i suppose my father and cliff are again playing chess together and golfing and playing bridge with my mother, who died the day before cliff. my deepest sympathies go out to the mitchells.steve rosenberg

We moved from across town, to around the corner from the Mitchells, when I was in second grade. From that point on we were in each other homes all the time. I grew up with Steve, Shelley,William, Cliff, Auntie Jan and Uncle Cliff. I was incredibly fortunate, and will be forever grateful that I had Uncle Cliff and the Mitchell family as part of my life. Wishing I could be there ..... Love to all, and I'm thinking of you. Brett Norberry
