Not sure what to say?

My wife and I met Don during our honeymoon in 2000. It was the Fuel & Gas Finals in Las Vegas and Don was the first hot rodder I met in the US. He had a couple of great cars, and although I only spent a short time with him, I got to know him through various hot rod Internet forums. We'll miss you, mate. RIP

Col. Palfreyman you were a Great Commander and mentor. The memories of service together will never leave or be forgotten. And to your family I send you my heart felt condolences. SFC Frank Servey Retired

In our journey through life, certain people cross our paths that are special. Don was one of those. My wife Lillie and I met Don on the Salt Flats several years ago, and every year after that Don made us feel special when we got together again....He was that kind of friend. Lillie and I feel a special loss with the passing of our friend Don. It seemed like we had known him for decades...He was that kind of friend. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Don and his family.

Farewell Col. you will be missed. I enjoyed my time in A Company with you as the commander. Thank you for your service to the country.

Col. Palfreyman,

You are widely beloved as a mentor and friend. Thank you for all you did for us in the 19th SFG. May Father-in-heaven bless your family with peace of mind and heart and the confirmation of the man of bravery and integrity you are.

I served with Don in the National Guard and currently serve with his son. Don was always positive and set such a great example of caring leadership. His enthusiasm was such a bonus when the days got long. I will always appreciate his kindness and willingness to teach and encourage myself and other soldiers; not just about military skills, but life skills as well.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Don, It's hard to believe you've gone to better palces. I was always suprized seeing your smiling face at different events. We then found we had the same interests, candle light vigil for Alzheimer's,Hot Rod Reunion,Roads End Gang,Bonneville Salt Flats,American Rodder Mag.,Cruise Nights,Cars and Cancer.(cancer sucks)My prayers are with your Family and I know I'll see your smiling face again. God Speed, Dave

My heartfelt condolences to Don's family and friends worldwide.

You will be sorely missed this year on the Salt my friend.
