Not sure what to say?

I heard today from my mother, Miriam Harrison, of Vincent's passing. We were classmates in elementary and high school. I remember him as a lovely person and consider it a blessing I knew him during my childhood.

I am so sorry to find that Vince passed away. He was a good friend and we will miss him and his wonderful e-mails. Our prayers are with your family. Bobby and Penny Williams

He was a friend in every way that words can describe and I am thankful tto have had him as a part of my life. I am very saddened but I will forever cherish the many memories. Vince was a dear friend and he helped save my life as a friend of Bill W. God bless Vince, his friends and family

VINCE AND I GREW UP TOGETHER, WENT THRU HICKORY ELEMENTARY AND GREAT BRIDGE HIGH AS CLASSMATES, PLAYED FOOTBALL TOGETHER, AND THEN SERVED IN THE 7TH INFANTRY DIVISION IN SOUTH KOREA TOGETHER. THRU THE FIRST 35 YEARS OF MY LIFE HE WAS MY CLOSEST FRIEND. WE PARTED FOR A PERIOD BUT WHEN I RETURNED TO THE OUTER BANKS IN 1999 WE PICKED RIGHT UP WHERE WE LEFT OFF. HE WAS A BLESSING TO BE WITH AND AROUND AND LEAVES US HAVING CONTRIBUTED SIGNIFICANTLY TO WHO WE EACH ARE.

CLIFFORD NIX,...

Vince was my good friend and colleague for many years. His gentle nature, sense of humor, and willingness to help and support others when needed earned him the love and respect of everyone who came into contact with him. I will never forget you, my friend.
