Capt. Clifford L. Patterson Jr.

Remembering Major Patterson on this day. He grew up in the Nineteenth Street Baptist in Washington DC. His mother Sandra Patterson and a Sister have joined him in Heaven. I attended his service at Arlington Cemetery and today it brings back memories of 9/11. May God continue to Bless his family.

I served under (then) Captain Patterson in C co, 1/502. He was a good man. Tomorrow I will have the honor of visiting the memorial at Arlington National Cemetery. My family and I will never forget him or you. RIP

Having just returned from a trip to NYC where on the 2nd July I visited visit the 9/11 memorial - it was my birthday the day before 1st July and I spotted this rose which I understand is placed to commemorate the birthday of those who lost their lives - with very best wishes, respect and condolences to the Patterson family for the loss of their loved one
