Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home - Montrose Obituary

Clifford Roger Sprout, 73, of Montrose, PA, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, April 11, 2019.  He was born on September 2, 1945 in Montrose, PA to the late Louis F. and Alberta (Leslie) Sprout.


 


Roger is survived by his wife of 53 years, Peggy (Jenner) Sprout, his children and their spouses, Noell and Jeff Baker, Lincolnton, NC, Shane and Pam Sprout, Easley, SC and Erin Sprout, Warren, RI; 6 grandchildren, Adam and Emilee Baker, Jesse, Bryce and Carley Sprout, and Griffin Black; brother and sister-in-law, Spencer and Mary Sprout, Federal Heights, CO, sister-in-law, Janice Sprout, Montrose, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was also predeceased by his granddaughter, Brianna Sprout and his brother, Edward Sprout.


 


Roger was a member of the American Legion in South Montrose, PA and a member of the Forest Lake Baptist Church.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam War.  He was a retired truck driver.  He loved hunting, woodworking and especially driving.


 


A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Forest Lake Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Young officiating.  A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Montrose, PA.  Interment with Military Honors will be at the Montrose Cemetery in Montrose, PA.
