Not sure what to say?

I was deeply saddened to learn of Clifford's death. He was a good man and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He and my mother, Olivia, were first cousins. She was the daughter of Will Bevis. My heartfelt sympathy.

Steve and Jeff,
What a flood of very fond memories came to me as I read your dad's obituary.
We were neighbors when you were just children on Houston Street in Florence. I lived next door to you on the corner of Houston St. and Garfield Ave. My parents, Vergie and Alton Faulkner, counted your parents as true friends, and considered your family among the best neighbors they ever had. Please accept my condolences on Mr. Simon's passing. He was always such a kind and gentle man. I will...

My deepest sympathies on the passing of your father. Clifford and my father, Howard Hipps, were 1st cousins and the very best of friends. I visited with your mother and father at the Bevis Family Reunion as well as at their home many times. They were always gracious and welcoming.

My grandparents, Robert & Alice Chambers, were neighbors of Mr. and Mrs. Simon. I remember going to visit them often when I was at my grandparent's house. They were always so nice and Mr. Simon didn't mind at all having a barefooted little girl traipsing around after him in the barn asking a million questions. :)
Your parents were two kind souls and memories of them make me smile to this day.

oh, to have lived a life like this......
