Not sure what to say?

I have very fond memories of Clifford from McMurry. He was a very intelligent man and was a person to be looked up to. We will miss him greatly. I remember the paddle one of the pledges made for him that had "Rowden" on it. I think of him every time I pass the Rowden turn off on Hwy. 36. We will miss you Clifford.

I remember Clifford from the year that I pledged KIVA'69 at McMurry University, Abilene. He was very good to the pledges. He was great example of what it meant to be a leader on campus in the best club. May God bless you Clifford.

Clifford and I met while working at Furrs Grocery store where we both worked from our junior high school years through our college years. We had some accounting classes together and later shared an apartment in Dallas after we graduated. Clifford wrote to me regularly while I was in Viet Nam. He was a true friend to me. He was smart, kind, giving, and committed to family and anything he believed in. It's obvious he touched many lives. Bill Cook, Arlington, TX

Clifford was a very intelligent man and as I recall, passed the CPA exam on his first try. Also, he had a good sense of humor and was a good friend to everyone. He was a leader that I respected during the college years in Abilene.

Uncle Clifford, I will miss you dearly. You were the last of the living tie I had to my mother,( your sister Billie Pyle), Jeff still talks about the wonderful fun time that he and mom had when they came and visited for the last time, 6 months before mom had passed away. My dad was telling me that he will miss talking to you on the phone every few months. You were a dear loving brother to my mother and son to grandma and grandpa ( Elise and Bill Taylor), and a great Uncle to me and my...

My deepest feelings for your family. Cliff and I were in school at McMurry (69) and also in the same social club KIVA. We had many good times together after graduation at the Swenson annual. I will miss a good friend.

Clifford was an old-school gentleman; even during his early years in Abilene, he engendered respect and affection with his keen intelligence and kind manner. I'm sure he remained the dedicated Christian he was back then. Sincere condolences from an old friend.

I want to wish my deepest sympathy to the Taylor family. I am a 1965 graduate from abilene high school and new cilfford at school and when he worked at furrs grocery.
