Clifton Carnell Cosey

Clifton Carnell Cosey, age 33, went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2021. A lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA, Clifton accepted the Lord at an early age and was baptized at Grace and Glory Family Worship Church International under the leadership of the late Dr. Andrew Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Viola and Clark Cosey III; his loving grandmothers, Dorothy Mae Cosey and Annie Mae Joiner; siblings: Tiffany Joiner, Tonya Joiner, Tyra Joiner, Clark (Jondreika) Joiner, Craig (Jaranicke) Joiner, and Carlyn Cosey; great aunts: Gladys Brown, Willie Mae Comeaux, and Joyce Marie Williams and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted girlfriend, Tranice Anderson. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Clark Cosey, Jr., great-grandmother Ethel Cosey, and uncle Robert Earl Cosey; maternal grandfather Willie Joiner, Sr., uncle Willie Joiner, Jr.,  and aunt Donna Prejean. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday June 4, 2021, at Grace and Glory Family Worship Church International, 802 Third Street, New Orleans, La. 70130.  Viewing will be held at 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM Pastor Otis Wafer will officiate the services.
