Not sure what to say?

As a child on Bakersfield, I remember watching him on Cousin Herbs Trading Post TV program. He was talented, self effacing and liked by everyone on the program.

When Cliff & Billy started being featured at Town Hall Party I recognized that they were a duo to be reckoned with . Both were incredibly blessed souls .

I knew Cliff since I was in 2nd grade. I have always been friends with his granddaughter Dovelle. He was the kindest, gentlest most genuine person I have ever met. I have so many fond memories of him for the last 30 years. U r the brightest angel n heaven. I love u and miss u.

Cliff played music with my dad,Johnny Barnett at the Lucky spot in Bakersfield in the50s.Cliff was such a special person, who has always been in my life, and he will be missed very much. What a thrill it was for me to play drums behind him at Trouts. My prayers go out to Maxine and his family Johnny Barnett Jr. Bakersfield Ca.

We are always thinking of you and our hearts are heavy with you. Cliff was the most kindest gentleman I've ever known. He is missed greatly. Maxine and Kristin, please contact me for anything.

Maxine,Kristin and Family, Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel. It was truly a pleasure to have known Cliff, we will miss talking to him. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

It was a great pleasure to meet Cliff last year at Trout's in Bakersfield. I did my impersonation of Walter Brennen doing Old Rivers. Cliff enjoyed that. Country Music has lost not only a gifted song writer, but a wonderful human being. Blessings to the Crofford family.

I love you grandpa I'm going to miss our 8:30 am talks every morning.
