Not sure what to say?

Clif had many gifts: as a self-taught artist with a passion for intricate wood carvings; as a guy who easily transformed his canoe into a sailboat; as one who invited, and appreciated, conversation with others. His cheerful personality, easy demeanor, optimistic attitude, and infectious laugh brightened us all. And his love for his family never wavered. What a guy!

Dear Gail, Heather and Family: I just recently learned about Clifton from Lynne (Bartishevich) Maslyn on a visit to Lyons. It is with tearful sadness but also with many happy thoughts and memories that I read the obituary. It is a beautiful and fitting tribute to such a dear man. To my old West lake Road neighbors, the Mason family.

So sad to read about Clif's passing. I can still remember him with that old Sea Scout boat during our boy scout days. He loved taking the helm.

Cherished memories of those days gone by will always be with us .

Bless you all.

May God bless you and your family at this time

Thoughts and love to Gail and Heather. I met Clif when he and Gail were first dating back in Hartford when we were all young. What I remember the most is the laughing we all shared and how much he loved Gail.

We have been in FL for two weeks and just read the Courant's Obits. So sorry to hear about Clif. Will always remember the twinkle in the eye while carrying Heather on his back each day to our house. Talking about his garden that Heather had just eaten an onion from. Taking the time for a few minutes of chat.
Gail, our thoughts and prayers are with you and Heather.
