I attended Banneker School with Clifton, and later we moved on to Tolleston Jr. High. Growing up on 20th Avenue, around the corner from Clifton's family home. Clifton was part of the Mckinley, Cleveland, Arthur, and Garfield streets bunch. This was back in the day when children in a 20 block radius knew each other. He came over to our street often to play.
