Proctor Funeral Home - Camden Obituary

Clint "Wesley" Dorris, Jr. was born on October 3, 2003 at Ouachita County Medical Center to Clint and Heather Dorris. From the time he was born he was our wild child. There was never a dull moment with him, from being in the back yard with his dad listening to music over the chevy caprice speakers singing "I got King Kong in my trunk," him and Gibby hiding a turtle he named Jermaine in his dresser drawer for who knows how long, aggravating his sisters Hailey and Tay to sneaking in the house and jumping out to scare me then fussing because I should have had the door locked, you just never knew.

Wesley loved music, clothes, his friends and his family, most of all his niece Azaleah. If you knew him, you knew she was bubba's favorite. He was loyal to a fault if you were in his circle, you knew he had you. He always wanted to be on the go he would either be with his friends or with Tay and Zae. Every time he came to the house, he always needed something crazy like a screw, a shirt, my hoodie or "Mom, Dad, Nana you got $10 or $20 I could get?" and usually he got it!

Wesley was a loved son, bubba, grandson and he was such a bright light that was taken from us way too soon. Our hearts are broken and will never be the same, every day will be a little darker without you here, but we will not say goodbye because you bud can never be forgotten but we'll say until we are with you again.

He was survived by his father and mother, Clint Sr. and Heather Dorris; his sisters, Taylor Craig; and niece, Azaleah Craig-Bush, Hailey and husband, Ethan; and niece, Leah Brown; nana, Rebecca Dorris; his, pepaw, Mike and wife, Rosey Alexander; his aunt, Donna Dorris; and uncle, Josh Dorris and a lot of other family and friends, including one of his best friends, Lawson Gibbs.

He is preceded in death by his great maw maw and paw paw, Donald, Sr. and Josephine Dorris; his Poppy Donald Dorris, Jr; and his great grandmother and grandfather, Dillard and Kathrine Alexander.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 10:00AM at New Hope Cemetery in Woodberry, AR. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 5:00PM-7:00PM. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
