LOS ANGELES - Actor Clint Ritchie, who played patriarch Clint Buchanan on the ABC soap opera "One Life to Live," has died. He was 70. Ritchie died Saturday in Roseville, Calif., following a brief illness, said longtime friend Janie Hickok Siess. He was on the daytime show for nearly 20 years, from 1979 to 1999, returning for a brief time in 2003 and 2004. "With his creation of the role of Clint Buchanan, he helped to bring to life one of the most memorable families in the show's history," executive producer Frank Valentini said in a statement. Among Ritchie's other credits were guest shots on the 1960s "Batman" series and "The Wild Wild West."
