Clinton E. Anderson

I'm one of Clint's nieces - daughter of his sister, Doris. When I was growing up, my family made annual summer visits to Amherst from Maryland to visit Uncle Clint and other family. My grandmother on Dad's side lived next door to Clint on Smith Street,; and "Nana," Clint and Mom's mother, lived nearby, so we spent lots of time there. I'll always remember Uncle Clint's cheerful nature and his sense of humor - he loved to tease! Through the years, distance has separated us and our visits...

Clinton Anderson is my mother's brother. We visited him every summer when our family traveled to my parents' "home town" of Amherst. I'll remember him at his house on Smith Street, our walks through Amherst, his love of jelly beans, the new cadillacs each year, his big straw hat, and that great New England accent that was so endearing. Even though we didn't see each other much, we will truly miss you Uncle Clint. Love, Susan
