Not sure what to say?

I met Mr. Purcell soon after moving to Cannon Bluff on an evening when a fatality had occurred on Bacon Race. After sitting in my car for over an hour, I asked could I use his phone to call home (no cellphones at that time). He graciously opened his home and invited me in. From that day, my husband and I would wave as we passed regardless of where in the yard or porch he was. His friendly smile has been missed the last few years and he will truly be missed by his neighbors as the land...

Mr.Purcell was a wonderful neighbor. He was always there to give a friend a hand. He will be missed for a long time to come. Our sincere sympathy to the family,

Although we did not know Mr. Purcell personally, we felt a connection to the family. We passed his home daily and early on spoke with simply a wave as he sat on the porch. We missed seeing him in recent years and will feel a loss with his passing. Our sincerest condolences are extended to the family.

I am so saddened to hear of Clinton's passing. My family and I have known him since 1955. He was
always a friendly and kind man. He always had a "wave" for you whenever he'd pass by in his old farm truck or while sitting on his front porch. I will surely miss him. He truly was a gentlemen. My sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy.

My deepest sympathy to his family. Love, Linda Posey
