Thoughts & prayers to the Schoonover Family. May you find comfort in your time of loss. God Bless & cherish the memories

My sincerest condolences to the Schonover family. I shall truly miss Jerry's friendship and his kiding me about being a "flatlander." He welcomed me when I first came to Bradford Co. in '03 and was always there for me with conversation on hunting, farming, etc. Really a fine, hard working, family oriented friend and neighbor. Although I only knew him nine short years I will really miss him. But I know he has the highest tree stand now. Fred & Katie

Jerry was the first person to make me feel welcome when I moved to the Towanda School District in 2003. Everyday I'd shoot the breeze with him on the way home. Talking about a bunch of daily topics. I always made sure I stayed in touch with him after I graduated in 2009 with visits at Burger King on Friday mornings while he waited for the vo-tech kids to be dismissed. Jerry was the type of person who would do anything for anyone and became a close friend. This has come as a shock to myself...

With heavy hearts and tears, our heart felt condolences to the Scoonover family.
A truely wonderful man will be missed.
We are here if you need us.

we are so sorry to hear about jerry. randy enjoyed running into him and chatting

In the past year I saw my cousin Jerry on two occasions, one very sad, the loss of my own father, and one very happy, the celebration of a family wedding. On both occasions it was so reassuring to see Jerry and get a big hug from him. To his family, please continue to find comfort and joy in the memories of his strength.
