I was very lucky to have worked with Clyde for 3 years at Wickes Furniture. He was a wonderful person and friend. He had a way to make me laugh day after day. We would always tease each other and he said that was the way he showed he cared. He was loved by all that knew him. He will be sorely missed.

Clyde"Doc" was fellow employee at wickes,I was fortunate that when Clyde decide to go part time he switched to my dept.& I got to spend alot of time with him,we enjoyed talking sports together,Clyde was very unique & down to earth,he told you how it was,good or bad & I respected him as a salesperson,a human being & most of all as my friend,I was also fortunate that my wife & children where able to meet him,he will be sadly missed by all that knew him,God Bless "Doc" the Gaskell family

"Doc" Bethune will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Clyde had a way of making people want to choke him, and love him all at the same time. I worked with Doc for 4 years and felt that way most of the time, in the beginning. I have to say that Clyde was of of the best salesman I ever worked with, and he truely had a heart of gold, even though he tried to keep it hidden. I am very sorry to hear of Clyde's passing. We worked together for a few years and he made the long days of a salesperson much more fun. He will be missed.
