Robert L. Anderson, son of Lavern “Butch” and Virginia (Bonsness) Anderson, was born July 9, 1959 in Powers Lake, ND and departed this life on April 9, 2020 at the age of 60.
Robert had been a resident of the Reeds Spring for the past twelve years, moving here from Kenai, AK. At the time of his death he was working as a well tender for an oil company in Alaska.
He was the most loving and compassionate man anyone in this world had the opportunity and privilege to know. He loved his children more than life itself. His loud laugh was contagious, and when you were around him you couldn’t help but join in on his laughter and positive outlook on life. His love for the Dallas Cowboys gave his children and grandchildren something to give him a hard time about, as well as something to always remember him by. He will forever be missed by those who truly loved and knew Robert for the man he was.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Katarina Anderson, brother Kim Anderson and sister Kathy Anderson.
Survivors include: his wife, Elizabeth Anne Anderson of Reeds Spring, MO; five daughters, Sabrina Anderson of Gramercy, LA, Kayla Silver and husband Dan of Soldotna, AK, Sheena Ashkenasy and husband, David of Kenai, AK, Loucinda Carroll of Reeds Spring, MO and Kara Fowler of Branson, MO; two sons, Jason Preston Jr and wife Melinda of Colfax, LA and Michael Preston of Gulfport, MS; four brother, Jimmy Anderson and wife, Ginger of Gillette, WY, Randy Anderson and wife, Val of Kenai, AK, Shane Anderson and wife, Rhonda of Kenai, AK and Steven Anderson of North Dakota; five sisters, Sharrell Boen of Brighton, CO, Shari Wilson and husband, Jeff of Kenai, AK, Tamara Anderson of Kenai, AK, Teresa Anderson and wife, Amy of Nikiski, AK; and mother of his 4 daughters, Cynthia Anderson of Kenai, AK; seventeen grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Celebration of Life for Robert will be held at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.

My condolences to the family of my friend Robert L. Anderson. I had the pleasure of meeting Robert when I came to Alaska to work. Robert gave me and the rest of his coworkers many memorable times. One of the many things that Robert and I have in common, is the fact that we both are "Real Dallas Cowboys Fans". God bless you and stay strong.

Robert was hands down one of the most fun and happy people I have ever had the privilege to work with. He had an uncanny ability to make people laugh even when things weren't always going our way. He was always willing to help ya out no matter how unfun a particular task was. He will be missed greatly and Endicott will never be the same without him here.
