I can't remember the year, but Officer Fannin saved my life! I was driving the wrong way down a one-way street in Newport News when he pulled me over just as the light was changing to let a whole lot of cars roll into me! He gave me a ticket, so I was able to thank him personally when we saw one another again at court. His is the first image in my mind when I think of a policeman. I'm an old Friend of Linda's and we were very close at one time when she lived in Newport News. She was in the delivery room with me during the birth of my son who is now 26. We lost touch when our lives took separate paths. I just searched for her and found this obituary. My heart is so broken that I waited so long to reach out. Linda and Clyde were such wonderful people. I know they will forever touch lives of many no matter how much time goes by. You are forever in my heart my dear...
