Not sure what to say?

C, W. was a special person and liked by all his classmates at Kernersville High School. I remember how sad we were when he moved away prior to graduation. His family is in our thoughts and prayers. Earline Ingram Echols...

It has been a long time but we miss all of our old school friends

Lewis Pless

I attended high school with C.W. when his father served the Kernersville N.C. community in the early 1950s. He was a terrific student, athlete and all-round nice guy. All my classmates and I considered him the smartest guy in our class and perhaps the most likely to succeed. We will all miss him.

CW was a student at Duke when I knew him. He used to help "work in tobacco" on our farm when he lived in Walkertown.

As a child, I spent one summer sick and bedfast. He came most days and played a few hands of Rook with me and my cousin.

Those times turned what would have been a hard summer into a good one and great memories.

I worked for Dean Faulkner for several years while he was Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. He was a wonderful man: kind, funny, thoughtful. He loved to read and would walk to the Atlanta Library at lunchtime at least once a week. He started me reading Dick Francis novels. Everytime I pick one up, I think of Dean Faulkner. Every few months, he would treat his office staff to lunch at the Mansion or some other fancy restaurant. He was very down to earth and a pleasure to work for....

C.W. as we back home called him was a very handsome and kind person to everyone. Memories of going down to Ma's and Aunt Annie's to see C.W., Clyde, H.T., James, Charles, Diane & the rest of the gang was always the highlight of our week. Those days were gone way too soon as we all went in different directions as we grew older. They will forever be etched in our memory forever!
Our condolences to his family. We will forever keep him in our hearts!

Clyde supported me in my efforts to bring the Greek Community and the City Of Atlanta together, by celebrating" Focus on Greece". He was always encouraging and eager for GSU to offer
courses in Modern Greek. May his memory be eternal!

My prayers are with The Faulkner family.

Clyde always greeted you with a big smile. He was the nicest man and he will be greatly missed. I keep his family in my prayers.
