Not sure what to say?

Mildred and family - Please accept my condolences about your loss of Clyde. The friendship of Clyde and me goes back to his public school days when he lived on South 18th St in Baton Rouge and I lived nearby. We were great pals and schoolmates. Clyde had a focus and tenacity in his endeavors (Boy Scouts, track and field and undoubtedly in later life) that I greatly admired. He will be missed.

Don, Jane, David, Sarah, and Emily,
We enjoyed reading your father's/ grandfather's memorial. We always saw a bit of Don the times we visited with him. May wonderful memories of this fine man comfort you. Love, Bromans

Mildred: I just received a note from Gayle Patterson regarding Clydes passing. I am so very sorry - I am currently in FL and will be back in Houston the end of March and will call then.

Clyde Ford was more than my boss at Texasgulf/Elf, he was my friend. All of us who worked together at that time were more like family. Since his retirement and mine, I have missed our friendship. My prayers are with his family.

Dear family and friends I offer my deepest condolences in your time of grief. 1 Corinthians 15:21,26 says " For since death is through a man, resurrection of the dead is also through a man; as the last enemy death is to be brought to nothing." This helps me to appreciate that although men sin and die, we are able to have the hope of living again and having everlasting life. I hope you will also be able to see these Bible text the way I do, and find comfort in them. Sincerely,

It was a pleasure to work with Clyde at Elf. I enjoyed his humor. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
