Steve, We were very sorry to hear about your father's passing. You, Angel, Christina, and Scott are in our prayers. I'm sorry we didn't make the service, but we didn't see the obituary until after the service. Red was a true southern gentleman. He prided himself in hard work. He was trustworthy, honest, and had a strong sense of compassion for his fellow man. I will always remember the happy times we shared together and the crazy things we laughed about. France, Steve, Mike and Karen I can not express to you all the happiness knowning Red brought to me over the years.

Much of "Old Tallahassee" remembers Red with fondness, I sure do.First at Herndon's, downtown, then in the store on North Monroe, Red was the epitome of an entrepreneur. I remember watching Red sell a fellow who came in for a Corning Ware lid, a color TV. I commented to Red, "That was something." "He wanted that TV," was Red's observation. And that's what old Red did, gave the folks what they wanted at a good price.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We love you all!

Karen, we're thinking of you and your family. Red was a good man and he'll be greatly missed.
