Not sure what to say?

Bud was one of the most optimistic people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He never knew a stranger and always had a story or a joke to tell that would lighten the mood of everyone in the room. He has left a part of himself in all who were lucky enough to be a part of his life. Our love and thoughts are with all who are left behind. May the Peace of God which passeth all understanding be with you now and always.

I am sure the angels were playing The Ohio State fight...

Bud was always very special to us here at The Village School. He was a great supporter and was the first president of our first board.

He was a really great man, very much admired by all who knew him.

My thoughts are with all of you who loved him so much.

Bud
I hope your new journey is as "fantastic" as the last 78 years have been for you.
You were an inspiration to anyone who had the pleasure of crossing your lifes path.
You were an example to us all of how we should live and love life.
Thank you for being a part of my life and touching my heart with wonderful memories.
Love Always,
Little "E"
(Max & Wally's Granddaughter)

Bud was an old friend who was very helpful to me at Marix Housing Corporation when we were building in Houston.

Delightful memories of trips with Bud and Gwen to various parts of Texas when I was on the office ladder of the Greater Houston Builders Association.

God Speed Bud.

I have known Bud and Gwen since 1957. Have wonderful memories of Bud. The greatest one was - when you ask him "How are you today?" His response was always "FANTASTIC".
He was always willing to help. Meant alot to me and my children.
Love Willie Mae Marks-Martin

I have fond memories of Bud, Gwen & children being our neighbor while living in Spring Branch (on Caudle Drive in 1956). We spent many hours together, having dinners, playing Bridge with them and other neighbors and just visiting. I live in California now, but think of the "good 'ole days" and miss Friends of yesteryear. I pray God will strengthen Gwen and their daughters in this time of sorrow.

Losing Bud will leave a empty spot in my heart. I know we will meet again in heaven some day. I've known Bud since 1964, as a young child. Later, in my life, I got the opportunity to work at Gulf & Basco with Bud. He has been someone I have always looked up to. He was a Christian man, loving, kind, always doing and helping others. I pray that we all live his image. I pray for his family for strength and love for each other. Love Charlene Speight

Losing Bud has left a hole in my heart but I know we will meet again in Heaven. He and Gwen have been a very important part of our lives for the past 10 years and we will miss Bud, but look forward to pleasant times in the future with Gwen and their fantastic family.
