Clyde, always had a strong work ethic that stayed with so many students he taught. He laid many bricks and block. Clyde was a true drum major, and left a footprint of life to many.

Mr. Johnson was always smiling, & very pleasant to talk to. The Gospel Choir were very blessed to have him as a member, his voice was wonderful. We would tell him that we are having practice on Friday he would say "I don't need to come I know all the songs"

Mr. Johnson was a man of God who believed in God, family, and the community. He will be truly missed.

Mr. Johnson was a class act. He was loving and kind. He will forever be missed. May God hold his family closely in his loving arms during this most difficult time.

"Mr. J" as I affectionately called him. My 1st teaching assignment in 1979 was w/ Mr. J. @ Wm Penn where we both taught @ "Cluster." I taught Academics, & he taught the Masonry Class & was the BEST MASON in the WORLD. He even taught me how to lay a brick or two. He was indeed a GENTLEMAN & a SCHOLAR. Loved his Cecelia & Sacha & spoke of them so affectionately. I enjoyed sitting w/ him at the Broad Street Market & reminiscing w/ him about those days in the classroom. I am saddened by...
