I once asked Clyde how he and Brenda met. It was love at first sight. Plain and simple. He loved his family, and if you were lucky enough to be his friend, well you were blessed to meet one of the best. We'll miss you Clyde. Our prayers are with Brenda and your children and grandchildren as well as all those that were lucky enough to call you their friend. The shores of Hatteras won't be the same without you. God take care of him for us...you sure got yourself an angel. Rest in Peace Clyde.

The two biggest loves in my Dad’s life was his wife of 47 years Brenda & fishing the beaches of Hatteras Island.
Everyone in Cape Woods Resort knew you and Chuckles & would ask you where are the fish biting?
Whenever you came back into Bedford you’d always bring back coolers of fish for your family & friends. We’re all gonna miss that.
Don’t worry about Mom or Chuckles us boys will take care of them. When you see Pop in Heaven till him that I miss him and to save me a spot...

Fred, Chris, and Brad. While I had not seen your dad in many years, I can still remember coming to your house as a youngster and being welcomed by your mom and dad as if I was one of you. I know you will greatly miss him, but cherish the memories. Glen

We are going to miss fishing with you old friend. Bonnie and I had some of our best times fishing on the beach with you and Brenda.
