I am just hearing of Clyde's passing. He was a tremendous gentleman, and an exceptional guitar player. I loved meeting with him at CAAS though the years. I will miss him greatly.

Clyde was an inspiration and mentor to many in the musical world. There won't be another like him, and the best we can do is remember Clyde and aspire to his standards. Condolences to Shirley and the family. Rest In peace, Doctor Guitar.

Clyde was a very special person, who touched many people in many ways. The music that flowed from his fingers was elegant. His wisdom on so many topics was enlightening, and his love for Shirley and his family and friends was inspirational. I'm sorry I can't be at the service tomorrow. I will be there in spirit. My condolences to Shirley, and all the family.
