I have so many positive memories of Clyde Kimball at Northern Illinois University (NIU), such as his calm, collaborative personality; his brilliant research; his generous mentoring of faculty and students; his perceptive service as presidential science adviser; and his promotion of his university as a major research center within Illinois.
