I remember Whitey from my childhood, as he coaxed me into taking my first steps, with an ice cream cone...maybe that's why I am so big today..lol!
I wll always remember him as "Snitch", his USMC nickname. He was a father figure to me, and his son 'Johhny' and I used to play together!
My condolences to his family, and may he now rest in eternal peace!!
