Not sure what to say?

At 8:20 p.m. Lebanon time, on the day that the Clyde Chester Lamb Jr. passed away, October 5, 2009 his newborn niece, Helen Barbara 'Hiba' ('gift from God' in our Arabic language here in the Near East) Lamb (named for the Lamb family's cherished Matriarch Helen Barbara Penne Lamb and their deeply beloved sister, Helen Barbara Lamb Quisenberry) was welcomed into this world by a large gathering of hundreds and a massive firework display in the squalid but noble Shatila Palestinian...

At precisely 8:50 p.m. Lebanon time, on the day that the Clyde Chester Lamb Jr. passed away, October 5, 2009, his niece, Helen Barbara 'Hiba' ('gift from God' in our language here in the Near East) Lamb, named for the Lamb family's cherished Matriarch Helen Barbara Penne Lamb and their deeply beloved sister, Helen Barbara Lamb Quisenberry) was welcomed into this world by a large gathering of thousands and a sky lighting fireworks display in the squalid but noble...

During my courtship to Alex Lamb, who is now my husband, Clyde was a guest in my home to celebrate Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful visit and I had a chance to get to know a 'favorite' uncle who had a marvelous sense of humor and more knowledge about the monetary base than any other person that I had ever met.

Clyde will forever be endeared to my heart for giving Alex encouragement to marry me after celebrating that wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.

Fondly and with much...

Dick S.(and Alice, Reed '58) called from London and we had a nice chat about how things were for Clyde over the last 6-months.

Alex, you and your family have my deepest sympathy --
I have something I think Clyde would want you to have.
A remarkable wit / intelligence ... no death is timely, but this was too soon.

Again, my condolences.

Sincerely,

Seems like just yesterday that we...Clyde and all the Lamb family on Lake Road were sharing grade, junior high and high school activities. Share a dinner with Clyde in the late 60's when we were getting our respective careers off the ground. Regret not keeping up and sharing adventures as time moved on. He was a "most" interesting fellow...and know that your parent and sibs were/are proud of all of you.

To Clyde's Family,

Clyde was a good friend to my family. my husband John Lawrence and my children, Becky, David, and Nancy Judd since the late 1960's. We had many memorable times together and a lot of fun. Clyde was also an excellent financial advisor.
My condolences to his family and especially to Henry.

Sally Lawrence

It seems appropriate to begin with a "thank you" to the staff of Ray Hickey House (hospice) for making uncle Clyde's last days more comfortable.
