Not sure what to say?

Mrs Midkiff,
I met Clyde when I started working for MEC in 1965. He was a great guy and friend. Even though we worked in different locations, (I was in headguarters; Chase City and he was in Gretna) we still got to work together during bad weather and got to see each other when he came to headquarters for meetings. He was a really great friend. I am so sorry for your loss. And mine also. My family sends our love and sympathy to you and have you in our prayers.
James "Big Boss'...

Joyce,

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Clyde was a good man and I enjoyed his friendship for many years. He will surely be missed by everyone who knew him. Love to you, Guyretta

Joyce ,
Uncle Clyde will be sadly missed by
Teresa, Holly and myself . I will miss
seeing him with you shopping in Danville. I have to tell you that uncle Clyde was a very important part of my decision to take Criminal Justice classes at Danville Community College .My mom used to talk about Clyde and all her uncles and how much they meant to her .

Christine Schwitzerlett

Clyde will always be a memory of my childhood. I would visit him when I stayed with Mrs. Eunice Simpson. He always had a kind word to say to me and he would sometimes bring me little "treats". Then as I grew older, I would always see him at any function in the town. He was a great citizen for our community. I will always remeber Clyde teasing me about my little red MGB. He said that my muffler was so loud that I would wake him up when I went to work in the early morning at Dairy Queen...

Joyce,
Your Clyde was a wonderful man and many were blessed to know him. We loved his humor and will miss him very much.

Clyde will certainly be missed. He was a wonderful person and friend. God bless you .
