Not sure what to say?

There are no words to adequately express my heartfelt love for my Uncle Clyde. He was always so very loving and such a wonderful Christian. He lived his faith and was always willing to be so helpful whenever and wherever he felt needed. I will always miss his loving caring ways and his precious smiles.

I've known Clyde my whole life. He and my dad were great friends from before I was born.

My dad would greet Clyde with a hearty, Mr. Nelson! when Clyde would come over to visit. And Clyde just radiated kindness and this absolute joy for life. A generosity of spirit all his own.

Clyde and Jane were fixtures in my life growing up. Dinner visits at their house, or at ours. Stories of sailing and flying. Clyde actually helped my dad lay carpet in our family room a true sign of...

Clyde always had a way of putting a bright, positive perspective to a situation others might perceive as negative. He saw the best in people. He was one of the most generous and kind persons I will ever meet, and would go out of his way to help in any way he could.
I worked with Clyde for many years and consider him to have been a very important mentor in my life. He had a gentle way of offering guidance and advice.
Clyde and Jane agreed to be godparents to one of our children and...

Clyde radiated kindness and an absolute joy for life. We are grateful to have known him.

Clyde has been such a loving presence in our lives for so many decades that the reality of him not being here is hard to comprehend. His kindness, acceptance, generosity, love of family, commitment to his Faith and his Church community is almost without equal. And he brought Jane into our lives, for which we are ever grateful. He has helped us in so many ways over the years, either with gifts when he somehow just knew what we needed at that time and with hours of help with tasks we could not ...

Clyde was one of the warmest and kindest people I have had the privilege of knowing. His exuberance was infectious and available to everyone. There was never a time before Clyde's kindness was part of my life, and I know I am enriched from it. This loss has been felt hard, but I am struck by how joyful I feel, merely thinking of what it is like to know Clyde. Clyde and Jane genuinely are my and all of my siblings' godparents. This was a gift we can never repay.

Clyde and Jane,...

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Clyde was a great guy that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed one. He gave me a job at Able Signs and we worked together for many years. I will miss him. Hope he is somewhere smiling that big smile.

Our Grand Canyon vacation with Grandpa. A trip we will never forget.
