Mr. Nero touched many young lives in Greenwood as teacher, principal, Sunday school superintendent etc. My late father pointed to him as an example for my brothers and me. He was a model Christian. Mrs. Rose Nero was my first Sunday School teacher. God bless Mr. and Mrs. Nero.

I was very fortunate in living across the street from Mr and Mrs Nero when they lived on East Lawn Drive in Greenwood. Along with my dad, Mr. Nero was one the most influential early role models in my life. Thank you, sir!
