Clyde McAvoy Perry

We have only just learnt about the passing of Clyde. We are so sorry to hear of the sad loss of Clyde of whom we have such fond memories. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Marcia and his family. Andy and Diane ROBERTS (now in France).

Commader Perry was my Division Officer at Navsta Phila Pa 1971-1973. He was responsible for me making LDO. I was an RM2 after coverting to RM from CTR2. I learned so much from him. He taught me how to Offline Encrypt and decrpt msgs on a a KL-47, which was similar to the ENIGMA. He recommended ne for ADCOP a 2 year college program. So sorry to hear of his passing. The best Officer in the Navy. He was ADM Rickover´s Communicator. A most pretigeous Man.
