Not sure what to say?

Clyde was truly a gentleman. He loved his family deeply. He often talked about his children, grandchildren and his late wife, always with love . He was a hard worker, a great boss and a special friend to me. When I left the F.O.P to work elsewhere I missed a lot of people but no one more than Clyde. I'm so sorry I couldn't attend his funeral, we had a death in our family with the funeral at the exact same time. But please know that I loved Clyde. The world has lost a wonderful man. RIP Clyde

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

I first met Clyde Williams in 1969 when he explained the mission and purpose of the Fraternal Order of Police to my rookie class at the Flint PD. I always associated Clyde with his many years of work with the FOP. Especially the fraternal and social aspects of the organization. He cared for his fellow officers and worked on our behalf through the FOP. Thank you Clyde.

To the family of Clyde Williams Sr. The family of Norm and Shirley Smith wish to extend our condolences to the five children, grandchildren, and even the great grandchildren, we had wonderful times with your parents with our cookouts, card parties, etc, watching all the kids grow up on Delaware Ave, and surrounding blocks, Sincerely, Norm, Shirley Smith, Chuck and Mary Smith, Rand and Marsha Smith, Terry and Amelia Smith, and Jeff Smith .

Mr. Williams was a class act. great guy!!

Compassionate and understanding. He knew what it meant to be a lawman and a good human being. Be at rest.

Clyde, you were one of the good guys. A strong and guiding hand for the FOP. We will miss you oldtimer.

I am so sorry to hear of Clyde's passing. He was one of the kindest and most hard working men I have known.
