Jim Cappelletti was one of the classiest and nicest human beings I've ever known. He did not have an insincere or malevolent bone in his body. He always greeted me with a smile and asked how things were going. He was genuinely interested in other people. His basketball success is incredible, yet he remained throughout his career, a humble and grateful man. I first met Coach Capp when I played at Normandy in the good old days of the L.E.L. and I later had a chance to compete against him and...

Coach Cap was my gym teacher in 1994 and allowed me to be one of his statistician for the basketball program. He was a great teacher, man and coach. My prayers are with you as you grieve. Many people don't siege the opportunities to make an impact on others. Your husband and father touched many people in his life, I can only hope this brings comfort during your time of need.

To my dear friends and second family, your father and family are in my heart forever. In these next days, years and months may the memories keep him alive! I will forever be grateful for all your dad and family has done for me. I would not be who I am today without their presence in my life. My your dad live on always in your hearts!
