My coach, friend, and fraternity brother. You accomplished what many before you have not been able to achieve. Thanks for all the memories. You have a placed in the legacy of West Monroe and West Monroe football. What an amazing coach, leader, and mentor. It required an amazing coach to create an amazing high school football program. Thankyou Coach Shows for all the exciting years of West Monroe Football. Being a 1974 graduate myself of West Monroe makes me very proud to be part of such an amazing school with such unlimited talent that you made it possible for everyone to enjoy. I only recently met Coach Shows at Coach Walter Brister's Visitation. He spoke with me a good while and I found him to be a wonderful man to speak with. One meeting and I felt like we had known each other for a lifetime. Not many people impress me in this way. I know he is a great loss to his family and the whole West Monroe/Monroe Communities.
