Read MoreI considered Codrey a good friend. We were members of the Lafayette Parish Homemakers in the 1970s. We attended meeting, conventions, etc. together. Such happy memories for me. I had to drop out of the club for personal reasons and lost touch. I am so sadden by her death and send all of you my sympathy . My life was made better by knowing this sweet lady. When I knew Codrey, my last name was Vincent.
