My thoughts and prayers are often with your family and friends even after all these years. While I wish that you were still here with us in person, you will be forever in our hearts reminding us to honor your memory. Semper Fidelis, LtCol T. K. Owen, USMC

Dear Childers family,

I served in 2/6 Wpns Co as a 0341 Mortarman years before Cody but when I ran across him name and the fact that I live now in Va beach I wanted send my most heartfelt condolences.

Semper fidelis.

To the Childers Family. I know that Cody's passing is just as fresh today as it was two years ago. I have a son his age and I just want to say on behalf of my family and our Chesapeake Family; Cody lives on in our hearts. We know how much you miss him and his sacrafice will always be remembered. God bless your family. Semper Fi. Larry Clayton
