Not sure what to say?

I will always miss my little brother. I wish I would have just got to see him one more time. Love your bro Kelly wentz

I know you remember where you were on 9/11 and I also remember where I was. Only a few years separated us and I joined the North Dakota National Guard in March 2006. There were many of us that joined during this time and deployments were just a part of the commitment. Thank you for your inspiration and kind heart. I am now going into flight paramedic training and eventually wish to become a CRNA. The National Guard has been extremely beneficial for my professional career. After 12 years I am...

I have suffered the anguish of seeing many Soldiers, Airman and Marines die on my watch, and Cody was one of them. I remember the night he came in to the ER, I was the RN taking care of him at Balad. There were four of us working to save him, we tried so very hard, but his injuries were devastating. I held his hand and said the Lords Prayer, I did that with many who passed. Cody injuries were bad, but he was not in pain and he was not alone. I followed the stories about him over the years and...

On Saturday I wore Cody's name on my bib for the Cpl Christopher G. Scherer Memorial "I Did The Grid" Run/Walk. Every step I ran honored Cody's heroism and ultimate sacrifice while serving in the armed forces of the United States of America. I completed all three events and rang the bell each time in his memory. Team Chris wants you to know how much we all appreciate and remember our Fallen.

Keeping Cody and his family in our hearts and prayers. He will never be forgotten!
