We just learned of the passing of Col. Beard, one of our distinguished alumnae and we express our condolences to her family - her sister, Edith Generous (also a UAlbany alumnae), her half-sister, Carol Clark, her niece Donna Mimas and husband, Mike, and their children - Brandon and Hannah and her nephews Darren Clark and Todd Clark.

Col. Beard's extraordinary career in the military during times of conflict are a tribute to her commitment to our nation.
