Not sure what to say?

So sorry for your loss. It was my privilege and honor to have served with Col. day. A true warrior in all respects. We remained friends after my discharge and spoke often on the phone or during his visits. My son was given his middle name "Edward" after the Col. He remains one of my personal heroes.

So sorry for your loss , I remember the col. from 5th Ave. at Fort Knox and his like for Yukon Jack .

Suzanne - I'm sorry I never had the opportunity to meet your Dad but after reading his obituary, he was quite an exemplary man. May you find peace in knowing his memory and remembering how special he was. God Bless you all. Patti Evans

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. He was a great friend and always had a joke and words of encouragement. I grew to know him from taking care of his vehicles at Big M Chevrolet. RIP Col Day

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. One day in church Christa greeted him as Col Day, he told her to just call him Ed. He will be greatly missed. He was part of the greatest generation . Where men were men and dedicated to their country.
