Read MoreI was very sorry to hear of Col Stanton´s passing. When I was in grad school at UNC, he and Ann were kind enough to invite me into their home for long weekends away. I loved spending time with them learning about his miniatures and playing with the dogs. My father was a classmate of his from West Point. The world lost a great man!

I did not know Col. Stanton or his family. He was a great American patriot...30 yrs. of service. His history makes me comment. My wife's father graduated from West Point and was called up in Dec. 1941 after Pearl Harbor. He flew B26 bombers from Australia and New Guinea. He rose near the top in the Army Air Corps after WWII.
