Not sure what to say?

Col Cooper was my supervisor for many years and I consider it a priviledge to have served with him. He set an example for all of us to follow in life. He was one that when you had a problem that he would listen to you and offer suggestions that always made sense. I can honestly say that I am proud to have known him and he was a guidepost for me and others to go by. I know he is in a wonderful place and that God will keep him in his arms forever.

Served under you while a Recruiter for 30th Spt Gp in Durham, NC. A fine man in every regard. RIP COL.
My deepest sympathies to the entire family.

Sallie, I was so sorry to learn of Larry's passing. I remember you so fondly from all our AAUW "doings." Know you are hurting now. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

We are truly sorry to hear of Uncle Larry’s passing. May God comfort you in the days ahead.

I had the honor and privilege to serve under/with COL (RET) Cooper throughout most of my military career in the North Carolina National Guard. He was an outstanding leader and officer who served as a mentor to me and many others. He demanded our best and encouraged each of us to be the best at our assigned jobs. His presence and experience provided each of us with a sense of confidence that we would succeed as a team with any mission regardless of the challenges we faced. I will always...
